Challenge #8

Talk about your creative process.

This has a few different sections.

For fanfic, I get an idea in my head and then it either disappears after a while or it sticks around. Then I eventually get around to writing the ones that stick. I leave whatever I wrote for the rest of the day, edit the next day, and then post. If I try editing for longer than that, I would never post anything because then I decide it's not good enough (and I know myself enough to know it's never going to be good enough if I let that happen).

My original projects lean more toward "this cast of characters won't leave me alone". One of my projects, Lyrical Melodies, has been through so many plot changes because nothing's felt right (I think I've finally figured out a plot that feels right).

Because of that, I've had so many drafts that just get abandoned because they don't feel right (this has also happened with my longer Yu-Gi-Oh fic plans).

I get an idea, open Krita and just do it for the most part. (I really need to learn to do people in pixel art. I have so many ideas, but a good portion of them have people.)

(I haven't posted any yet, but I do sometimes do edits.)

This one's pretty much the same as with pixel art, but I use Photopea for these. (I could use Krita, but I don't.)

I kind of love that feeling of playing around with them though! :)
