I have a black cat named Ryuk. We adopted him from a shelter as a kitten and he's grown up to be a menace, but I love him anyway. He knows he gets his treats after I eat dinner so he's gotten to the point where he stares at me the entire time I'm eating. He'll grab someone's sleeve or pant leg if they stop petting him before he's done being pet.

The only pet in Yu-Gi-Oh is Honda's dog, Blankey. She only appears in the manga and only once, but I love her.

Ryuk is such an adorable (and fitting) name for a cat. Both of them are silly freeloaders who are unreasonably picky about their food and probably have some background Agenda in their little heads.

The woman who caught him and took him to the shelter named him that and we kept it. And it does suit him.

Your cat sounds like my dog. She comes and gets us at 5:00 for dinner. Then she just stares at us. It cracks us up.

He also keeps trying to get the times for his wet food and treats both moved earlier. He hasn't succeeded, but that doesn't stop him from trying.

We lost our black cat, Anno, to cancer about 4-5 years ago. He was so lovable and a right character too :)

Oh, little voids are the best. And cats can be particularly smart about their own food and comfort, when they want to be. (A cat named after that character in Death Note seems like they would be a gremlin.)
